A career of consistency and determination, from her debut at 17 to World Championship podiums

Manuela Molgg Portrait

Manuela Mölgg, born in Brunico on August 28, 1983, was one of the most recognizable figures in Italian alpine skiing, specialized in giant slalom and slalom. She made her World Cup debut at just 17 years old, in December 2000, beginning a long and solid career, marked by 14 podiums without victories, testament to a continuity of performance at the highest level. She represented Italy in three editions of the Winter Olympics – Turin 2006, Vancouver 2010, and Pyeongchang 2018 – and in numerous World Championships, distinguishing herself through technique, determination, and grit. Sister of Manfred Mölgg, with whom she shared the international stage, she is now remembered as one of the most long-lasting and appreciated protagonists of Italian women's alpine skiing.
