Armand Marchant, born on December 14, 1997, in Thimister, is a Belgian alpine skier specializing in slalom. Raised within the BE Ski Team, he made his World Cup debut on January 26, 2017, in Schladming (Austria) in the discipline that would later become his trademark. Throughout his career, he has managed to stand out despite a long break due to serious injuries, returning to the slopes with determination and achieving notable results among the best slalom specialists in the world. He has participated in multiple editions of the FIS World Championships, even entering the top-10 in Cortina 2021, and represented Belgium at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, where he finished 22nd in slalom. His sporting story is marked by resilience and passion, qualities that have made him one of the most representative athletes in Belgian alpine skiing.
