A shared responsibility

Colmar promotes sustainability along the entire value chain, aware that being a responsible company means taking on a commitment that extends beyond corporate boundaries.

Colmar requires its business partners to adopt the same ethical principles: every company involved in Colmar's production system must ensure, verify and demonstrate compliance with these standards.

Ethical principles and Codes of Conduct

The Supplier Code of Conduct is the document that defines the ethical and behavioral standards that all Colmar suppliers are required to respect. It is based on internationally recognized principles regarding: protection of human and labor rights, promotion of health and safety in the workplace, respect for the environment and animal welfare, guarantee of product safety and quality, corporate ethics. Each supplier must sign the Code of Conduct, formally committing to respect its principles.

The Supplier Code of Conduct

Active monitoring

Colmar has decided to implement an active monitoring system towards its suppliers. In case of proven violations of the values, principles and guidelines of the Supplier Code of Conduct, the Company commits to intervene promptly and adopt appropriate measures.

Responsible sourcing

Colmar's objective is to integrate environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria into its sourcing processes. For this reason, it has formalized a Responsible Sourcing Policy that establishes sustainability criteria for both new suppliers and suppliers that already have a relationship with the Company.

Responsible Sourcing Policy

Trust, collaboration and communication

Through the creation of effective communication channels and relationships inspired by the principles of loyalty and transparency, Colmar is committed to creating a climate of trust, fundamental for addressing problems, collaborating on solutions, understanding the expectations of the parties involved, clearly and jointly defining the objectives to be achieved, roles and responsibilities. Colmar encourages its suppliers to independently develop responsible practices, raising awareness and implementing training programs on sustainability as well as the benefits of adopting a responsible business model.

Financial support

In line with this vision, the Company has launched an important collaboration with FinDynamic, with the objective of financially supporting suppliers through early payment of invoices, in exchange for economic incentives. The Company's commitment is communicated by an Ethical Claim (ISO/TS 17033) validated by an independent organization.
