Matthieu Bailet is a French alpine skier born on April 23, 1996, in Nice. He specializes in speed disciplines, particularly downhill and super-G. He made his World Cup debut on March 17, 2016, in St. Moritz, Switzerland, in super-G. His first World Cup podium came on March 7, 2021, in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria, where he achieved the second place in super-G. Throughout his career, Bailet has participated in two editions of the Winter Olympics: PyeongChang 2018 and Beijing 2022.
